Welcome to the website of the Victoria County History of Oxfordshire (VCH Oxfordshire) - part of a major national research and publication project in English local history, overseen by the University of London.

This website contains information on the work of the VCH in Oxfordshire, including:

It also includes online work-in-progress. These are working draft texts which will be published in future volumes, probably in modified form.  Texts currently on this site relate mostly to ongoing work in the Henley area.
