Suffolk

Status: Dormant - 2 volumes produced

Suffolk set up a county committee in 1907 consisting of local nobility, gentry, mayors and leading churchmen together with several practicing historians. Two volumes appeared in 1907 and 1911, partly researched by Lillian Redstone.

Although no work has taken place in Suffolk since before the First World War, there is some enthusiasm in the county for undertaking the topographical parish entries, and a meeting was set up on 25 March 2009 in Ipswich to see what the possibilities were of restarting work.
