About VCH Derbyshire
Our first 'big red' book since the project's refounding - volume III - is scheduled for publication towards the end of 2013. This will be a landmark in Derbyshire local history - the first volume to be published since 1907. This volume concentrates on parishes in the Bolsover area.
VCH Derbyshire is actively researching and preparing text for inclusion in other 'big red' volumes to be published. Research work is also being undertaken on other north-eastern Derbyshire parishes as well as parishes in the west of the county. In addition work has been undertaken on some southern Derbyshire parishes.
Details of the plan for the completion of the VCH Derbyshire can be found here
