Knife handle found at Ibstock

Coinciding with a major international archaeology conference taking place at the University of Leicester, The Past beneath Your Feet is a free family afternoon of history and archaeology events taking place on the main University of Leicester campus from 12.00-17.00 on Saturday 12 January. Leicestershire VCH will be one of many archaeology, history and heritage groups with a stall in the O2 Academy building on the junction of University Road and Mayor's Walk. Full details of the event can be found here. And the picture? It's a knife handle found at Ibstock, one of the parishes currently being researched for the Leicestershire VCH.
