Donation from the Westminster History Club

25 June, 2014 - 19:00
Councillor Judith Warner presenting the Club's donation

The popularity of the Westminster History Club, held four times a year in the Lord Mayor's Reception Rooms at Westminster City Hall, has meant that £3,000 has been raised from ticket sales over the last season and donated to the Victoria County History Trust. This will enable our research officer to complete work on St Clement Danes parish, ready for publication of a paperback next year, and to move on to work on the large parish of St George's Hanover Square. The VCH is most grateful to the Club's many loyal supporters and to those who buy tickets to hear individual lectures that interest them.

If you would like to know more about the Club and come to talks from September 2014, please see the programme attached below, or visit our VCH Middlesex pages. All are very welcome.

If you would like to volunteer to help with research or fundraising for the VCH Westminster project, please contact Dr Adam Chapman, adam.chapman@sas.ac.uk.
