Jubilee Publication

Our Jubilee commemorative publication will include new research by Professor John Beckett, former VCH Director, into how the VCH was founded, its early royal connections and how the original dedication – and series title – came about. The special character and research of VCH counties and notable contributors to VCH success as a scholarly project will be highlighted, in order to spread the word about our present activities as well as our past achievements.

The publication will be available to purchase in hard copy on the evening of the Fitch lecture and afterwards via SAS publications. We are excited to announce that an e-book version will be released on the same day and will be available via this site.
