Quantock Archaeology and Heritage Study Weekend

A wonderful opportunity to enjoy the beginning, hopefully, of spring at historic Halsway Manor at the foot of the Quantock Hills, studying the history, archaeology and music of the area in the comfort of this welcoming house.

The course begins with dinner and keynote lecture by Peter Haggett on Friday evening followed by a day of talks about the area by Hazel Riley, Mary Siraut, Bob Croft, Rachel Shaw and Chris Sidaway. Saturday evening will be given over to a concert of Quantock folk song by Yvette Staelens and the Halsway Choir, Sunday provides the opportunity to get out and about and enjoy the archaeology and landscape of the Quantocks.
