The Walker Heneage and Helyar of Coker Court archives together form one of the most important collections in the Somerset Heritage Centre with material covering the 12th to 20th centuries. It includes many nationally important documents including the Civil War sequestrator's accounts, put to good use in volumes 10-11 of the Somerset VCH.

 

The collection is worth half a million pounds but the South West Heritage Trust only needs a further £20,000 to secure it. Will you help save this important part of Somerset's precious heritage?
