The Regency Weekend celebrating The Regency which had such a profound impact on Brighton and Hove. It begins on Friday evening with an introduction by Sir Simon Jenkins, President of the Regency Society and opening talk by Dan Cruikshank on the year 1812, Dan is well known for his TV programmes and books on the period. The Saturday symposium includes Steven Parissien, well known author on the period, Allan Brodie from English Heritage and Sue Berry, editor VCH City of Brighton and Hove. The day ends with walks and other activities.
