About Yorkshire West Riding

At the present time, there is no VCH activity in the West Riding of Yorkshire.  However during 2009-10, Dr Brodie Waddell, funded by a generous bequest from Rena Fenteman to commission a history of Barlow, the village of her ancestors, researched and produced the first parish entry of the West Riding series.  Further information about Brodie can be found below and that parish entry can be read here.

All enquiries about restarting work in the West Riding of Yorkshire should be sent to the VCH's Research Manager, Matthew Bristow matthew.bristow@sas.ac.uk
